I've been working for Fields since 2014. In my time here, I've assisted a range of clients in recovering their lost information. I have been with Fields for ten years now and, having started out as a data recovery technician, currently serve as the company’s Senior Data Recovery Manager. As part of my role, I am responsible for managing our engineers and our lab, for maintaining quality and play a significant role within our research and development department.
I have been with Fields since the very beginning and currently head up the company’s research and development team. I am also responsible for ensuring that our employees are fully briefed on the latest storage media and relevant recovery techniques, and also undertake complex recovery work when necessary. I am particularly interested in emerging technologies and specialize in the virtual reconstruction of complex RAID arrays. I am continuously looking to develop my knowledge and skills – a philosophy that marries with Fields’ own ethos perfectly.

I have been employed by Fields for more than 11 years. I come from an IT background with a Meng in Computer Systems Engineering. My experience of programming, servers and various IT systems helps me to identify faults with and recover data from failed drives swiftly.
When I first joined Fields, I worked exclusively with HDDs. Over time, though, my passion for microelectronics – coupled with the ever increasing popularity of USB drives and SSDs – resulted in me becoming a specialist solid-state engineer. As part of my role, I regularly reverse engineer obscure systems and am also required to work closely with our research and development team to ensure that we’re continuously ahead of the curve with regards to solid-state storage media.
I am responsible for booking in clients’ media and ensuring that it is diagnosed, recovered and returned to them as quickly as possible. I work with a team of highly-educated technicians, managers and directors in whom I have the upmost confidence and am immensely proud to be employed in what is probably the most advanced data recovery lab in the US
I have been employed by Fields for the past seven years and am currently employed as a Senior Technician. I am confident with all types of media and am able to recover data that has been lost for any number of reasons – from deleted or formatted data to physical damage that requires a full mechanical repair.
I am the Assistant Manager in charge of Fields’ second line recovery department and am responsible for ensuring that all recoveries undertaken by my team are completed in a timely manner and that the quality of work is continuously of the highest standard. My team undertake the most complex jobs that arrive in Fields’ lab and my team and I possess extensive knowledge of all storage media as a result.
I have been employed by Fields for seven years now and currently work as a RAID specialist. I have held this role for four years and this experience – coupled with the strong analytical skills gleaned from my engineering background – is, in my opinion, behind the successful recoveries I have conducted on failed RAID arrays when others considered the data to be permanently lost.

I have worked at Fields for the past eight years and, in this time, have utilized my background in electronics, mechanics and computer systems to develop new and innovative recovery techniques. I joined Fields having previously served as an engineer in the Royal Navy where I maintained a number of vital systems. I have been at Fields for three years and am currently the manager of our logistics department. I am responsible for ensuring that each and every piece of media that arrives at our offices is logged and then passed on to the correct person as quickly as possible. I also regularly correspond with various courier companies in order to ensure that our clients’ data is returned to them quickly and safely.
I am one of three individuals employed by Fields who are responsible for maintaining the largest library of stock and donor parts in Europe. Additionally, I am also responsible for ensuring that our clients’ data remains secure and that recovered data is dispatched to them as quickly as possible. As one of three individuals that are employed for maintaining Fields stock and donor part library, I am required to ensure that said library is adequately stocked at all times and that all of the parts that comprise it are in full working order. Being a data recovery technician is a challenging and rewarding job for me. The technical aspects of retrieving data from different Media to help our clients get their precious data back; gives me a sense of fulfilment both on personal and professional level.
As the newest member to Fields I have a lot to learn but I have also joined at what I feel is the most exciting time in the industry of storage and hard drive repair, I will endeavor to bring my 7 year plus experience of computer building and maintenance to aid in the continued growth and development of Fields and the Post Declaration department which I now call home.

I started working with the company 2 years ago and since then i have progressed in my personal and career development. I started off as part of the back up department, then developed into a engineer. I currently hold a position within the logistics department, booking in various forms of media for the engineers to recover the data. I also ensure all client drives and media are returned to them via our courier system. It is also my responsibility to maintain stock levels for the company to allow for the quick return of the clients drives.
